Welcome to Nancy Campbell Academy!
Your start here is important to us. We believe in easing you into school life, which is why your first days are dedicated to orientation—a time for building friendships, understanding our community’s values, and setting a strong foundation for the year ahead.

The residence officially opens for all our boarding students on Sunday, September 6th at 12:00 p.m.. This welcoming weekend ensures everyone is settled in and ready for a connected start before classes begin.
The excitement continues on Monday, September 7th, our main welcome day. The afternoon kicks off with our annual Principal’s BBQ at 1:00 p.m., a wonderful tradition where our whole community, including new and returning students, families, and staff, comes together.

Our first official day of school is Tuesday, September 8th, 2026, and it marks the start of our orientation period.
Instead of jumping straight into a full academic schedule, you’ll spend the first few days getting to know your classmates and what to expect at NCA. Together, we’ll explore the core values that make our school unique, including an introduction to the 19 Moral Capabilities that form the foundation of our character education.
This is a time to build connections and understand the supportive framework that makes NCA a special place to learn and grow.

This initial period of connection culminates in one of our most beloved traditions.
From September 14th to 18th, 2025, our entire school travels together for the Wildfire Lodge Arts & Outdoor Retreat.
This immersive week of art and community-building is the perfect way to forge the strong friendships and sense of belonging that define the NCA experience.

There are a few of the important dates that mark the start of our school year.

We offer a unique education that values character as much as grades, preparing students for a life of leadership and purpose.

This treaty land is rich in Indigenous history and remains home to many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples today.
