Welcome to our Grade 7 & 8 Program, a unique learning environment that offers the best of both worlds: the nurturing support of a dedicated junior classroom combined with the dynamic opportunities of a full high school.
This program is designed to help younger students build the confidence, skills, and character they need to thrive.

Our Grade 7 and 8 students learn together in a combined class that serves as their “home base” for the day.
To create a stable and consistent environment, their dedicated teachers come to them for their lessons.
This model, combined with our small average class sizes of 10-15 students, ensures each student receives personalized attention while forming strong bonds with their classmates.
Their schedule is slightly altered from the secondary students to best suit their developmental needs.
The academic experience for our junior students is engaging and hands-on.
They participate fully in our World Citizenship Curriculum and dive into exciting cross-curricular projects.
For example, our students have run a school-wide composting project that involved public interaction and have served as the jury in a mock trial, using their English and communication skills to review the case.

While the Grade 7 & 8s have their own distinct group, they are fully integrated into the vibrant life of the school.
They join our older students for daily all-school assemblies and dine with them at lunch, building friendships and mentorship opportunities across grade levels.
The program culminates in a special milestone, as our Grade 8 students celebrate their achievements in a joint graduation ceremony with the Grade 12s.

The Grade 7 & 8 program is designed to provide a strong foundation for the high school years.
At this time, we recommend this program for local day students, as we find that students in this age group are often not yet ready for the independence of residence life.
Inspired by the principles of service and unity in diversity, Nancy Campbell Academy is a world embracing school where students find authentic happiness in a supportive community.
We offer a unique education that values character as much as grades, preparing students for a life of leadership and purpose.

This treaty land is rich in Indigenous history and remains home to many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples today.
We are grateful for the opportunity to live, work, and play on this land.
