At Nancy Campbell Academy, we believe that the most powerful learning often happens outside the classroom walls.
Our curriculum is intentionally designed to connect students with the real world, transforming our local and global communities into dynamic learning labs where students gain practical, hands-on experience.
We know that every student learns differently.
By taking learning beyond the classroom, we tap into the potential of different learning styles to be ignited in each student.
This philosophy of experiential learning turns abstract concepts into tangible experiences, providing students with practical skills and a deeper, more meaningful connection to their education.
From interviewing a local business owner to performing for youth in the Caribbean, these experiences combine to create an education that is relevant, empowering, and unforgettable.

Our students have many chances throughout the year to step into the community and learn directly from the people doing the work.
Learning from Local Experts Classes often visit local businesses to learn firsthand about their operations. For example, a Grade 10 class studying environmental responsibility went out in small groups to interview local grocery stores about their waste policies, connecting classroom theory with real-world practice.
Mentoring the Next Generation Our students develop leadership and empathy by serving as “big buddies” to local elementary students and by acting as volunteer “animators” in the Junior Youth Empowerment Program.

Service is a cornerstone of our real-world learning.
All students participate in a minimum of fifty hours of community service each year, partnering with local organizations and leading their own initiatives.
This local work provides the foundation for our international Grade 11 Service Trip, where students travel to perform and connect with youth in other countries, giving them a truly global perspective.

Real-world learning also happens right on our campus.
Students gain invaluable practical experience writing and recording in our professional on-campus media studio and develop real-world engineering skills on our championship Robotics Team
Inspired by the principles of service and unity in diversity, Nancy Campbell Academy is a world embracing school where students find authentic happiness in a supportive community.
We offer a unique education that values character as much as grades, preparing students for a life of leadership and purpose.
We would like to acknowledge that Stratford is on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Neutral (Attawandaron) peoples.
This treaty land is rich in Indigenous history and remains home to many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples today.
We are grateful for the opportunity to live, work, and play on this land.
